Nowadays, I receive lots of questions about why I signed up as a Beachbody Coach. There are so many misnomers out there in the market about the company that people want to know. But mainly they want to learn a few things about what I do.
- What do you do as a coach?
- Why would you want to become a coach?
So I wanted to take the time to answer some of these questions for you. And if you are considering Beachbody as either a business opportunity or as a potential customer looking to get in the best shape of their life while being surrounded by a virtual community, I want to help make that dream a reality.
What do you do as a coach?
Coaching for Fitness
As a coach, who also works full-time in financial services and part-time doing freelance marketing, it is all about empowering others to turn their dreams into reality in the time that I make to commit to my business. We all know someone who wants to lose weight but just sits around complaining about it. My job is to help them see that in just 30 minutes a day, they can lose that stubborn belly fat and get the body they always want. Through accountability groups, programs and inspirational messages, I work to keep my challengers on track and motivated so they stick with their workout plan. The community I am a part of is 600+ strong which can be intimidating at first until you realize, they are motivating you to get your workout in each morning or night.
They are also there to support you in making healthy decisions. Most (not all of the group) drinks Shakeology which is a delicious protein and nutrient-packed shake that you can turn into a smoothie as well. A lot of our team also uses Energize which is a pre-workout designed to get you up and moving.
The other part of coaching is coaching coaches on my team. As a Beachbody Coach, you can personally sponsor coaches that are looking to grow the business and learn from both you and your own personal sponsor. This is how you can really start to grow your own business.
I love helping and empowering people to become financially independent especially those with the drive to help others. Those people who are already fitness savvy, posting on Instagram and Facebook about working out and eating healthy make great starter coaches.
But you don’t have to be in shape to be a coach. Maybe you are starting your fitness journey, why not start it as a coach helping others because it will only help hold you accountable!
Why would you want to become a coach?
I wanted to become a coach because I want to help people on their health and fitness journeys. I love coaching high school basketball because I love the game. But I also love it because I find gratification in seeing the light go on in someone’s head when they get it. I found that same spark in Beachbody coaching because there are so many people out there that are looking to find their spark. When you can be the one that provides them the motivation to find it, it is an incredible feeling!
But I also wanted to hold myself to a higher standard with my diet, my health, and my fitness. Posting on social media every day is important for my own accountability but it is also important when it comes to our groups. When I see my challengers kicking ass and working out early, it makes me want to get up and workout!
If you have been thinking about joining a Beachbody team and have questions, I want to help you. I know, when I first got started, I had a lot of questions and want to make sure yours get answered.
